Week 1: Biblical Storytelling - The Easter Story
Week One, our Sunday School teachers will use biblical storytelling to bring the Easter story to life for our children. Through interactive narratives and engaging visuals, the kids will learn about Jesus' journey from the triumphal entry into Jerusalem to His resurrection. This storytelling session will not only educate but also inspire our young learners to reflect on the significance of Easter.
Week 2: Skit - "The Last Supper"
In the second week, our Sunday School children will take center stage in a skit titled "The Last Supper." This interactive performance will help them understand the importance of Jesus' final meal with His disciples. By participating in the skit, the kids will gain a deeper appreciation for the events leading up to Easter and the symbolism of the Last Supper. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to express their creativity while learning about a pivotal moment in the Easter story.
Week 3: Easter Egg Hunt
Finally, on the third week, we will host our annual Easter Egg Hunt immediately following the service. This beloved tradition is a highlight of our Easter celebrations, bringing joy and excitement to children and adults alike. The Easter Egg Hunt is more than just a fun activity; it symbolizes the search for new life and hope that Easter represents.
Refreshments will be served after service, providing a chance for everyone to come together and celebrate the true spirit of Easter. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow church members and make new friends.
